A story about Buvette, Betty and Ben's Burger (& more).

Once upon a time, in a small romantic city called Luxembourg, there was Ben. Ben was a chef and really into good food. His big passion was BBQ and one of his specialities were homemade burgers. Together with some like-minded people and his vintage food truck Betty he started his own BBQ/burger business. The cool terrace of Buvette restaurant at Rotondes was just the perfect place for Betty and Ben and they all lived happily ever after ...

To jump back into the present, the result of this little love story is really one of my favorite place in Luxembourg. For any day and daytime it's a spot to enjoy good food in a nice atmosphere and just have a good time - either alone or with friends. The cultural center of Rotondes in the city's district Bonnevoie, right on the backside of the central station, hosts different events: Flea Markets, Food Festivals, Film Presentations, Exhibitions, Theater Performances, Design Meetings, creative Workshops and many more. Buvette is the bar and restaurant at Rotondes - food-wise catered by Ben Péporté, chef and BBQ expert, who grills and prepares both classic and cosmopolitan burger creations, international lunch dishes like curries e.g., and a delicious brunch on Sundays where you find local cheeses and hams, homemade jams, freshly prepared salads (such as oriental couscous salads), egg dishes, terrines and organic fruits on the buffet. Even the tableware is of a nice quality and design: Villeroy & Boch, the company I am working for. So, an overall beautiful and happy thing for me!
