A like Antwerp. B like Belgium's best town.

Food, Fashion, Design ... this aesthetic city has indeed a creative atmosphere and is Belgium's jewel. Things you shouldn't miss at a glance:
The Fashion store of Couturier Dries van Noten and - at least currently - the exhibition at the Fashion Museum (MoMu), both located on Nationalestraat ...

For a delicious and stylish lunch you should walk further south to Mamixplaats where you find Fiskebar. As the name may suggest, mainly fish is on the menu. Fresh fish! And the little restaurant is full of locals, so you will definitely not feel as a tourist here. The food, the staff - everything is simply excellent here!

For shopping you will find heaven (at least visually) at Verso, an art déco shopping temple selling the latest collections of labels such as Dolce & Gabbana, Chloé and Valentino. It's worth a visit already just because of the impressive architecture and the very generous size. A few steps away, in the neighborhood of Oudaan or Lombardenvest Street, stores like Essential Antwerp, Red Valentino, Acne, Jimmy Choo and many other premium labels wait for you. The ideal bar for a champagne or coffee stop is Julien Bar...

For dinner there are many options in different price categories. A delicious and good price-performance ratio offers "De kleine Zavel" on Stoofstraat 2.  The concept is that each course of the quite high level cuisine is 15€, no matter if it's a starter or a dessert. The dishes on the menu sound familiar, but then they surprise you with a new twist - Bruschetta with anchovis cream, pepper and ruccola, steak tartare with aubergines and coriander instead of beef or Moelleux au Chocolat with Caramel. Your digestif you could have at the bar of the Hotel Julien in the Korte Nieuwstraat. A design hotel and bar, very well-assorted and absolutely cool.
