Flea & Food Markets in Brooklyn

A Local told me that it is Fort Greene area in Brooklyn where you move with your young family in your 30ies right from hot Williamsburg. Before that you might have tried out Manhattan - e.g. the Lower East Side (which is actually still one of my favourite areas in the city). On a usual saturday from April through November you would enjoy a walk on Brooklyn Flea - a hipster hang-out place with nice food and self-made-lemonade and ice-cream to buy and, of course, nice vintage clothes, accessories, jewellery, bikes and much more, sold by around 150 vendors.

On your way back to Manhattan you should stop in Williamsburg at the Artists & Fleas Indoor market on 70 north 7th street, close to the Waterfront, open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 7pm:

...and furthermore to be recommended: the Williamsburg Food Market, where on Saturday fresh international food and drinks are sold and on Saturday the same vendors as at Fort Greene present their vintage stuff.
