Fashion and Food in Mumbai.

I already wrote briefly about Bandra, Mumbai's hipster district. Make sure to check out - beside the Pali Village introduced some weeks ago - at least one more restaurant and bar here, that will remind you of mediterranean open-air-places already seen on islands like Ibiza or other spanish hideaways. Simply lovely and delicious - although not very typical indian at all: Olive Bar & Kitchen (Union Park, Khar West). Beside the tapas food, the perfect gin tonic, and the white stone furniture with cozy pillows I really liked the pink painted ladies bathroom.

A nice surprise with superb food was the seafood restaurant Trishna around 10 minutes by car from Bandra in the district Nagar. Not spectacular at all regaring the interior, but as soon as you tried the crab specialities and varied seafood and fish dishes you know why this place is recommended by my favourite travel guide by Wallpaper and also known by food and travel experts across portals, blogs and other sites in the world wide web.

In the - not first of all architectural wise - but otherwise nice neighbourhood of Trisha's you will find a very close coffee bar which is worth to stop by and also a lovely fashion store of young ladies that tailor unique and customized pieces for fashion lovers: clear shapes and styles, mostly black and white, daily portable.
