Dries van Noten. An exhibition in Paris.

The Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris is always worth a visit, but in these days especially fashion lovers will be thrilled by the exhibits. The Belgian fashion designer Dries van Noten was invited to showcase current and former pieces in the context of their inspiration. Arts, Movies, Nature - there's a broad array of sources that led the creative contemporary to his outstanding designs. Beside his pieces you will meet some other familiar fashion icons like the Picasso dress by Yves Saint Laurent from 1979/1980 or Thierry Mugler's haute couture of the 1990ies. Also art connoisseurs will be delighted by finding Gerhard Richter's and Damien Hirst's work beside others tastefully included.
